Have camera phone....
I am a technochick!!!! Figured out how to send pics to the blog w/my cameraphone....just a little excited....soon to come...hats and ponchos and scarves Oh My!!!! Maybe even a skateboarding dog. The possibilities are endless.
It's a blinkin' day here, sun, then clouds, a blink of sun, etc. Last night we stayed up too late visiting and drinking wine. I forgot I was 41 for a while, but oh did reality hit at 4:45 this morning. So I groaned and moaned and made myself get to work. And then I really haven't accomplished a blanking thing all day. I forgot again to stop and get my delinquent dog's license. I pass the town hall constantly, so you'd think it wouldn't be an issue. But this is how I operate all the time. Dan had to go to NYC today, maybe Philadelphia later in the week.

I am currently wanting to start up a local SnB. I have been thinking about locations and people and all that stuff. If anyone in the Binghamton NY area is interested, contact me here! Just started making a purse for my son's girlfriend. It's pink and sparkly. I am going to use bamboo round handles. I hope to get some project pics posted soon.

Currently, I have finished a sweater for myself, and a blanket for my mom. The sweater is a pattern I found in K1 by Vogue knitting, done in Lionbrand homespun. It was easy for a first sweater. I am now wondering whats next. I need to get to my LYS for sex ,aka. stash enhancement expedition. I want to make some simple socks, and I am finding that socks don't look simple. I would appreciate any feedback on a simple beginner sock pattern, or books and the best yarn to use. I need a portable project and socks seem to fit the bill.
About me....I love to knit. I am a mom to 4 boys. 41. A school bus driver, a hairdresser and QVC addict. I live in rural upstate NY. And I am just a little crazy. I just learned how to knit this past December. My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was 8, and God bless her, my mom tried to teach me to knit. I just didn't have the patience for it. I was finishing a crochet blanket in November and decided this was the year I was going to conquer my "I can't knit" thing. So I got a Klutz book on knitting, with all the stuff I needed to get started and low and behold, I can knit. I have been cranking out hats, scarves, blankets, ponchos and stuff ever since.
